Because it is unique in its class, people will buy the Grand Cherokee. Although there are many mid-sized SUVs available, only one Jeep is on the market. This Jeep is unlike all the rest. You can have luxury, comfort, off-road capability, technology, interior space and comfort. The Grand Cherokee’s popularity is not accidental. Jeep has taken all these qualities and made the 2022 version even more popular.
Interior Design
Although it may not be the most recent Jeep you will never mistake it for anything else. This Jeep is not completely different from the Grand Cherokee, but it does have a little more personality. The 2022 Grand Cherokee will spend his money instead of shopping at Gap. It’s beautiful. It is muscular and chubby in the right places, with modern lighting. The body will also have the necessary easter eggs to be a great Instagram subject.
This Trailhawk trim is the most aggressive and off-road capable. This trim features red tow hooks and large skid plates. It also has Trailhawk decals. All-terrain tires are available. It is the only Grand Cherokee to sport a Trail Rated badge.

Trailhawk is serious about business. The Trailhawk is a serious competitor. It features air suspension, Jeep’s Quadra-Drive II 4-wheel-drive system and a disconnecting bar. You’ll find terrain difficult to conquer with its knobby tires. It’s easy to find dirt paths near your home or along your favorite hiking trails. You don’t have to choose from four different drive modes: raising suspension or 4WD Low. This Jeep can do more than enough to satisfy 95% of its customers. Other 5% might be happier with the Wrangler.
The 2022 Grand Cherokee will continue to have the same 3.6-liter V6 motor as its predecessor. It is an excellent engine that provides enough power for everyday tasks as well as a strong drive to the SUV at highway speeds. The V6 has 293 horsepower, 260 pound-feet, and 379 lb-ft of torque. This engine is not nearly as powerful as the 5.7-liter V8 but it costs $3,795. However, the V6 consumes more fuel than a V8. We averaged 11.3 MPG in our weekly driving in cities. You might reconsider moving up to the V8 with current gas prices and looking into the plug-in hybrid option.
The Trailhawk is quiet and refined. It offers far more comfort than most Jeeps. It’s just that the Trailhawk is a jarring ride on rough roads. Although the ride is smooth on highways, it will still feel rough around potholes. This is a fair tradeoff considering the off-roading capabilities you will get. It is important to be honest with yourself about what your off-roading requirements are so that you can determine if road comfort will have to suffer for the annual trail runs.
Do You Need One?
Yes. It’s so great that even someone who isn’t a Jeep enthusiast will become a Jeep lover. The Jeep Grand Cherokee does all you would expect from a Jeep, but it doesn’t overdo it. It’s all about the off-roading philosophy. The Grand Cherokee, including the Wagoneers, is the most popular Jeep available for people who don’t own a Jeep. This Jeep is also the most popular.
